The central idea of this work is to analyze the role of actors and social processes that trigger the policy in the promotion of renewable energies. The challenges of the energy sector, which is measured with climate change, the increase in the energy mix and the improvement of equitable access to resources, are increasingly characterized by the introduction of new systems and technologies. The range of highly innovative technologies has opened an important exploration on the issue relating to the management of the transition to a new technological regime in the energy sector.
