The results of the researches which have been carried out by staff of the State Enterprise "Scientific-Research Institute of Building Constructions (NIISK)" are presented in the monograph. The guiding principles of design of earthquake proof buildings and structures are in detail presented in Book and necessary formulas for definition of seismic loadings according to rules of EUROCODE 8 are given.
