Die Klassische Konditionierung von Funktionen des Immunsystems verdeutlicht den Zusammenhang zwischen Nervensystem und Immunsystem beispielhaft und lässt zudem auf klinische Anwendungsmöglichkeiten hoffen. Daher wird in dieser Arbeit anhand von tierexperimentellen Befunden und einer Studie von Buske-Kirschbaum et al. bezüglich der konditionierten Aktivität von Natürlichen Killerzellen beim Menschen die Konditionierbarkeit von spezifischen und unspezifischen Immunreaktionen verdeutlicht und erklärt sowie mögliche Anwendungsgebiete im klinischen Bereich angezeigt. Zudem wird ein Einblick in das Prinzip der Klassischen Konditionierung gegeben, die physiologische Kommunikation zwischen Nervensystem und Immunsystem erläutert und die Konditionierte Immunmodulation an Beispielen dargestellt.
