Language Integration in Health Sciences

Language Integration in Health Sciences is an invaluable resource for language teachers and students becoming doctors. The book will assist language curriculum planners and language teachers to be aware of issues surrounding language in medicine, such as cultural nuances, difficulty in translating some of the health terms to isiXhosa, finding relative understanding of concepts that are difficult to translate and how this could jeopardise the language integration process.
