These three individuals with their own life burdens use all their skills to just stay alive, while trying to find out who is behind the Malthus Confederation and what do they want. Ultimately, their trails converge for an exciting and illuminating finale only to be followed by a second surprise ending. Some depiction of violence and some sexual material make this book unsuitable for readers younger than sixteen.
